Meet Your Makers have handed in a protest to the ESL against BenQ DELTAeSPORTS.COM's 2-1 victory in the IEM European Championship.
The Russian team state that four DELTA members did not use ESL Wire, the competition's anti-cheating program, on the second and third maps, and that these players uploaded fake files, created on October 20, four days before the match took place.
DELTA won the match 2-1 in what was a long encounter, as both teams had to wait over 30 min for two of the Polish players to come online after they had lost their internet connection half way through the match.
The match is currently listed as "in protest" on the ESL website, and a decision from the tournament admins is expected to be made in the next days.
Should the ESL rule in MYM's favour, then it is likely the match will be replayed, and the Polish team will be given a major penalty point for faking ESL Wire files.
